I discuss how I found and organized information, and share some unusual research strategies. Drawing a Blank: A Non-Artist Writes About Art How I came to write about art and the art world in Tokyo Heist, what I learned from artists, and how that knowledge has affected my writing. My Journey into YA Publishing How I became a YA author; insights into the process of writing and publishing books for young people. From Tourist to Novelist: Turning Travel Experiences Into Fiction How my fiction uses and departs from real-life travel experiences. Writing My Way to Japan How Tokyo Heist came out of a trip to Japan and how my research and writing became a way to return. Group Blogging: Is It For You?
